The iPhone blog reported today that customers are still flocking to AT&T for the iPhone.
Well are you surprised?
I bash AT&T every chance I get, but that doesn’t mean I have any intention of leaving them. Sure I was reluctant about switching. I waited nearly two years after the iPhone came out to get one. I really loved Verizon, but my little geeky heart is weak.
When people ask me today about switching to AT&T, I tell them not to do it, but then I still welcome them to the iPhone club. What can I say? The phone is amazing. I haven’t had a functional problem with the phone itself. With AT&T? Well that’s a different story.
I do feel like AT&T is holding us hostage with the iPhone. They know that the minute it becomes available to other companies that they’ll lose a lot of customers. I know that I’ll switch back to Verizon the minute they start carrying the iPhone.
If you don’t have an iPhone, are you waiting for other companies to get it?

I left AT&T years ago. Hated their service. I had more dropped calls than anyone with other service providers. I refuse to go back. Even if it means I go without an iPhone. Poor Apple surely is losing out on a revenue stream of others like me, no?!

While I think the iphone apps and such are cool, I HATE, HATE, HATE text/typing on a touch screen. So until they come with a qwerty slide out keyboard option with real BUTTONS, count me part of the un-cool club.

I gotta say, I just haven’t had all the awful experiences that other people have had with AT&T. Maybe it just works better in certain areas? I don’t know, but I really don’t have all the dropped calls everyone is always talking about.

Yes, I’ve been waiting forever for Verizon to get the iphone. There is no way I can switch over to AT&T b/c they simply don’t have the coverage I need for the area in which I live. So come on Apple – let’s start sharing.

I’m biding my time until I can get an iPhone from Verizon. I’m hoping the rumors of the “iPhone lite” are true, though I daresay an iPhone without internet isn’t exactly an iPhone. I just wish Verizon would stop being so obnoxious about their phone software. That’s my one consistent complaint about Verizon, but otherwise I’m happy with them. Oh, and some of their fees are a tad exorbitant, too, but I digress.

With Verizon and love their service and the price I pay each month is better than what AT&T can offer right now – but not feeling any of their phones so I’m just hanging around and waiting for the iPhone to come along.

I was so pissed at Apple for making iPhone’s for AT&T only that I almost quit them. Because I would NEVER SWITCH TO AT&T.
Then I remembered that I love Apple. And I can’t live without Apple.
Eventually I switched to AT&T. Ugh. I have no principles.

I’ve gone on about how I don’t want to be that connected… but well, really, I wouldn’t mind being slightly more connected — a lot of it would be for bus tracking and connecting to my gCal… But, until there’s an iPhone for verizon, I’m not switching. Nope. Never.
